Choosing the Right Tripod CLICK HERE
The Recon V2 Tripod is truly a jack of all trades tripod. It features a quick deployment system with 3 leg sections, new racheting locking tabs for even faster deployment as well as a compact size for packing in. The new V2 series offers a more packable tripod by reducing the center section to allow users to use either their current existing ballhead or any common ballhead on the market. By reducing the center section we were able to have a weight reduction of about 1lb off of the current Recon tripod The Recon V2 now features out new leg stopper system which does not allow your tripod leg to cross in between the other legs when closing and transporting the tripod.

Recon V2
Dan was a champion to deal with. Responded to emails same day and was very helpful and happy. Stoked with the tripod. Super sturdy and looks great. It arrived on the other side of the world as fast as our domestic mail. Cheers

great tripod
Wanted a do all tripod for PRS, NRL hunter, and range work. This tripod fits the bill perfectly. Packs slim so it is easy to throw on the side of a pack. It is tall enough for my 6'3" frame to stand behind and is plenty stable for shooting heavier rifles. Legs deploy easily and built quality is great. Shipping was fast as well!

Great product
As a sniper on a swat team, we needed a strong reliable shooting platform that would adjusted to various positions. The V2 paired with the 55mm Dual Tension Ballhead has been a game changer. We are getting quality hit out to 600 yards from the standing position. This product has made long operations that historically would be tiring a lot more comfortable. 10 out of 10 recommended this product for shooting comps, hunters and law enforcement.

Recon V2
Recon V2 is the most solid tripod I’ve ever 0wned. I owned several Swarovskis, Manfrottos, Peak Design, Velvon, and more. Though each one has their usefulness, supporting spotting scopes, LabRadar, SLR camera, as light travel photography. The Recon is the best to support my rifles. My 6-dasher weights around 25 lbs. But the Recon can support up to 50kgs. The V2 version is also slimmer and straight compared to the original. The leg locking mechanism is solid and quick to deploy. It’s worth every bit of the $600 price tag. And Two Vets even laser engraved my name on it!!!

The Recon V2 checks all the boxes!
Two vets hit it out of the park with the Recon V2. It is rock solid. I have great stability when shooting my heavy PRS rifles off of it. It is also relatively light. I’m looking forward to having it with me on my next mountain hunt. The overall quality is top notch with all the tactile interfaces being well thought out and they function great. I’ve been dry firing off my Recon V2 daily for several weeks and taken it to the range 3 times. Based on these initial impressions I expect this to last for a long time. Also, given my interactions with the Daniel at Two Vets I am confident they will take care of me if anything ever did come up. *Extra info - I looked at lots of tripods before making this purchase. All the amazon tripods I saw were no where near the level of quality. The fit and finish on the adjustment tabs were poor to the point that they affected function (some of the guy's tripods were “brand new”). More importantly, they weren’t as stable. I’m not sure how the other manufacturers do their ‘layers’ or layups but the tripods I saw were less rigid (and still heavier). Any of the similar ‘tier’ of tripods I saw were either 2x the price or significantly heavier and not something I want to take hunting.
